A new innovative solar panel array technology designed by Ecosphere Technologies promises rapid deployment for energy production in off-grid locations.

This remote ‘mobile-solar-powered generator’ runs on high power photovoltaic panels that extend from its container combined with an easy to set up wind turbine.

The technology comes with energy storing capabilities with on-board batteries built into it.

This self-contained solar generator unit is best suited for disasters–which will take full advantage of their ease of transportation–via sea, land or air, to reach areas quickly.

Once at its destination, at the push of a single button, the system transforms into a communications base, shelter and water treatment plant, capable of generating up to 15 kW of electricity.
